Pennington Smart Seed 7 lb. Northern Sun & Shade Mix is a blend of northern blends or turf type fescue blends. These blends would normally consist of turf type tall fescues and 1 of the shade tolerant grasses. This grass seed is suitable for use in areas with 4-8 hours of daily sun. It has high disease and drought tolerance, and medium traffic tolerance. It germinates in 11-15 days and has a fine texture. The recommended planting temperature is 61-70 °F and the recommended planting depth is 1/4-inch.
